In bark, we offer Regular Grind (universal application), Supreme Walk-On (contractor favorite & won't blow away), and certified Playground Chip. In addition we offer organic Compost and Top Soil.
Regular Grind
Sometimes known as Medium Bark or Soil Aid, Regular Grind consists of wood material that is ground to a particle size of (¼ - ¾"). This product is completely organic, contains recycled materials, and is eco-friendly. It is designed to be used year round and can be applied as often as needed to maintain a rich, luxurious foundation to protect your flowers and plants.

Supreme Walk-On
Supreme Walk-On bark is our contractor favorite. Easy to apply by hand or using our pneumatic blower technology, this bark has universal appeal. Ground to a particle size of 1 - 1½ inches, the coverage area is increased and usefulness is enhanced. This bark is ideal for high usage areas in your yard or office. Consisting of larger shredded pieces, this bark is made from organic, recycled wood material and is ideal to complement your existing landscape. Supreme Walk-On adds beauty, functionality, and alternatives to troublesome areas in your landscape.

Compost and Top Soil
With over 30 years of experience in landscaping, bark and mulch applications, and horticultural consulting, Ground-FX constantly pursues the best that the industry has developed. We have developed nutrient-rich, organic compost made from select wood product and recycled yard waste, proven to enhance the growth of just about any tree, plant or shrub. Our compost can be used for flower beds or as a top dressing for lawns.
Functions of our Compost include:
- Amending soil to enhance nutrient content and workability
- Stabilization of soil conditions around trees and shrubs
- Increase water retention
- Insulate tree, plant, and bush roots
- Operating as an excellent growth medium for starts and transplants
- Phenomenal base to mix with grass seed in repair and maintenance

Many landscape projects require functional soil-based additives that augment existing solutions. This is where our Top Soil comes in. Our Top Soil is based on the same methods and practices used in development of our organic compost.
Top Soil is used to:

- Build soil profile and increase amendments to reduce soil compaction
- Provide a inexpensive medium to enhance fertilizing
- Cover large areas of rough terrain to aid in growth of ground cover

Bark & Mulch FAQ
- All jobs are priced by the cubic yard installed,
- There is a 10 cubic yard minimum,
- Prices include material, installation, labor.
We can apply playground chips, bark/mulches or composts up to 300' from the curb, and getting over walls, fences or other obstacles is no problem.
- We achieve a more uniform and even application, and there is very little waste,
- There are no unsightly piles of material left over to deal with,
- It is fast and efficient, which saves you time and money,
- Allows accessibility to remote areas with no damaging tire tracks in the yard.
We make every attempt to protect existing plants and shrubs.
Our truck is equipped with a dust suppression system which greatly reduces dust.
- Flowerbeds should be relatively clean and edged,
- The project area needs to be clear of all animal deposits or any debris prior to starting,
- Planting needs to be completed.
We can apply from 1" - 4" thick (or more), depending on the project requirements.
